Zulily- Do Not Buy from Zulily

Be sure you know your labels. I ordered from MishMish - Mish Boys through Zulily.

The quality is AWFUL. I truly overpaid for outfits that I can't even give to the thrift store. Cheap cheap cheap. As with other reviewers shipping was very slow.

a real disappointment. and no returns/refunds.! awful! Zulily is responsible as they list the products with a list price and a discounted price.

They should not sell poor quality goods at an inflated price - the 'list' price is at least double the 'reduced' price , but the clothing isn't even worth close to the 'reduced' price. I think they are an outlet for goods from China.

Even if you know your brands, they sell those brands seconds or misfits or cheap Chinese knock offs.

Zulily is a third party seller ( a reseller). They do not warehouse the items and then sell it to you.

They rely on the vendors to send them photos and descriptions to place on their website, so it's not entirely their fault. The vendors send them a sample of their advertised stuff (1 sample from many items for sale), and of course that sample is great top quality. That is what zulily bases their vendors stuff on.

Not saying this is the right way to do business, but it is how they do it.

Try giving the customer service dept a call and explain it and ask them what they can do about it. You will likely end up with a refund or at the very least a store credit.

I have ordered tons of items for my five year old. I bought her entire summer wardrobe from Zulily.

Last year I bought most of her winter wardrobe. Only one item has ever been sized incorrectly. It was a dress I purchased for Thanksgiving 2014. She wore it Thanksgiving 2016, lol.

The clothes I've received have been good quality, at a very good price. She often receives compliments. However, it does usually take a few weeks to receive the items, which is clearly stated on their site. As I write this she is wearing a denim dress I purchased from them.

I love their clothes!

It's worth mentioning that there could be bad vendors, but I haven't run across them.

This site is dreadful. Much like other complaints, I placed an order almost a month ago and my items still say "in transit to Zulily".

This is absurd... should have canceled the order when I had the chance. Not to mention you cannot return ONE THING on this site. I understand the concept of "flash sales".

But come on...if other credible companies (such as Hautelook.com; Beyondtherack.com to name a couple) can accept returns why can't Zulily? They just want to make their money, get rid of their *** inventory and move on. Never again will I order from this place... wonder just how much longer I have to wait until I finally receive my merchandise.

And now have to keep my fingers crossed that the items were described accurately on the website since I can't return anything. What a joke.

They are thieves. They sell garbage.

Bought a Cuisinart food processor, never worked...not even a hum from the motor.

Can't even tell you about the clothes. NOT 1 item was the size that was claimed. The tags were all marked from China or India.

I paid a premium for this low quality garbage.

They insist they have a quality control dept that checks all items. On top of stealing from me they are now lying to me?

"FIRST AND LAST TIME".... I don't think it is worth to wait almost a moth for a product I ordered at the end of August, today is September 20th and is not arriving till next week, at least that's what the UPS site said.

So bad I didn't read all these comments before ordering from them. Even my daughter (7 year old), said she won't ask anything from that website again, the wait have been too much.

Zulily is crooked. I did an "event" with them a couple of years ago.

They are pushy, very pushy....As for pricing, the real price is made up!

I for example I want $10 from them for each item, they make up a retail price so their sale price reflects a 40% - 60% savings.

I won't buy a *** thing from them and certainly will never do another event!

I would rather pass the savings on to my customers, Sell to them at the price I would sell to Zulily at!

Couldn't agree more. Absolutely horrible customer service (if you can call it that) - overly inflated "retail prices" mislead customers - expensive shipping for a few items completely takes away any "savings" - return policy non-existent - and when they credit $5 to your Zulily account for a problem you end up having to spend more to realize the credit.

And customers should hold them responsible for NOT providing location where the merchandise they sell is actually made - not where the corporate headquarters are - or the design team - but where the garments and toys and shoes are made.

Most of the garbage they sell is Made in China - something you don't find out until you get it home - stuff you would never with confidence put on your child. Caveat Emptor.

I have had a great Experiene

I recently came across zulily on the internet. I ordered a pair of boots and when I tried them, they were way too big. I called them and they were very kind and understanding. They told me, I can donate or do whatever I wanted with that pair of boots and they gave me a store credit for the whole amount. I ordered another pair after a week or so, and it arrived in two weeks. There was still credit in my account and I ordered two pairs of leggings which fitted very well and they are beautiful! I will definitely refer others to zulily. Thank you for the great deals and most of all great customer service.

Taking too long

I ordered items from Zulily on August 12th and PAID shipping(around 9.00) and STILL have yet as of September 8th to receive all of my order. I have gotten 5 of the 7 items so far. THIS IS SCHOOL SHOPPING ZULILY! sheesh!Very disappointed in the time in takes to get items. Other companies I ordered from(American Eagle, H&M, Aero, JCP) was shipped within a day with free shipping even and we got them within a week. Why does it take so long to get items??? I had planned on ordering more for Christmas but now I think I will skip the savings if the shipping doesn't get any better.

Bad indeed

I sshould have checked these reviews before buying. The dresses I bought are too small and very cheap quality fabric - look nice in their pictures, but terrible when you see the close_up. One item they cannot ship after the order has been confirmed, because there wasn't actual stock when they were showing there is, another two items from same order haven't even been shipped even after the first few ones arrived. Bad service and thirsty for money! On Day of placing the order, their payment server was down for 6-7 hours and had to call them every 15 minutes to 'reserve' the items so I don't actually lose them to other customers...all they did was just apologizing when called

DO NOT ORDER! Waste of Money!!! You get better quality clothing at Walmart. The Fabrics are very thin and see through. Their sizing is off as all of the clothing I ordered is 2-4 sizes smaller than labeled!!!! Their deals ARE TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE! You will wind up receiving products not up to par! I've seen their ads and was considering buying from them, so glad to see these warnings. And you're right; if you want see-through *** clothing, WalMart, Cato and many more are readily available locally.

Very Displeased - BEWARE

I purchased 2 dresses through Zulily. When I received my order, the dresses were are very poor quality and three sizes too small. I notice the packaging did not have any information for returns. So I called customer service and they inform me that they do not accept returns for refund. I have never heard of this in the 21st century. Who do things like this. If there was something on the web to inform customers of their policy, I would have never purchased anything. This company has just lost a customer and I will say, read first and beware of this company. They are not concerned about customer satisfaction.

Shoes fell apart after a week. Some items were not sewn properly.

No returns. Zulily not worth the time!

There adds wrecked my computer, I hope they go under so they don't wreck everyone else's computers. I never even asked for there adds. They just showed up and wrecked my computer. They suck. I'll never buy anything from them I hope you don't either. They really really really suck. Any co that shoves these adds on us I will never buy anything from. Time Warner sucks and so does this co that uses them. Why do i have to put 1 0 0 words to say they suck. But I have to so I guesse I will just keep saying that there adds suck.

How to you only ship "part" of a pajama set?

Part of my order arrived today--3 out of 7 items--after a two week wait. "Part" of my order is a correct term as they only sent the top part of the pajama set. I have the matching infant cap...but no pants. One of the items was "no longer available". Why did I have to wait two weeks to find out it wasn't available. It was an apron for part of a shower gift and I didn't find out it was unavailable until the day before the shower. The "support slip" I received was sheer and lightweight, and pretty useless. I wish I could cancel the rest of my order (that is somewhere out there awaiting delivery) after reading all their negative reviews.

Where's my *** coupon code?

I've spent thousands of dollars here. Sometimes I get lucky with some pretty things, other times I get some cheaply made things. Zulily is rich with the help of suckers like me. I absolutely love the things that I can't find anywhere like certain items for my children. But the items for adults are usually blah. Cheap and thin & well ugly. They look fantastic in photos but in person, they are awful. There are items on zulily that are not original on zulily. Don't let them fool you. I google brands and prices and find them almost 20% cheaper and with coupon codes elsewhere. Make sure you always look elsewhere first. Maybe, zulily will catch the hint and place an appropriate sale price on their items if they want to claim its a real discount. What I really hate is that they are giving me less of an incentive to shop there. And, I was an ideal customer. Shops on the site everyday, spends hundreds at a time. Where's my incentive? Do I get a coupon code? Nope! Do I get free shipping for more than just 1 or 2 days? Nope! I'd like some credit for shopping so much and spending so much money! Free shipping for the remainder of the day isn't going to cut it. After all, if I just purchased some items, I'm done shopping for the day so what good is the free shipping for the remainder of the day doing??. Like I said. Google items & coupon codes before you shop on zulily because most likely you will find the same item on sale elsewhere and for a significantly cheaper price! Sorry, zulily. You need to compete with pricing now!! It's one of those kinds of decades!!

Worst online company ever!!!!!!!!

I have never had a pleasant shopping experience with Zulily. Customer service responds with same scripted answers. They kept shipping orders to my old address even though I changed my address with them. Would e-mail them before anything ever shipped to tell them you have the wrong address. Customer service would respond ohh we will fix that right away. They of course never did some orders I never received others I paid a total of an extra $30 to get them from the post office making their *** products not worth any discount they offer. So I switch e-mail address to give them one more chance why I'm a sucker I guess. Ordered a swing set for our daughter's second birthday, her grandparents wanted to get it for her. I get an e-mail saying you may have received an e-mail saying your order was canceled don't worry it isn't once we receive it we will ship it right to you. I e-mail them asking them why I got this e-mail and if everything was ok with my order and if we would be receiving the swing set. Got a response yes it is just fine it is in stock and available to ship on the 8th. Today is the 8th just got an e-mail saying your order has been canceled we don't have it in stock sorry for the inconvenience. Seriously!!! So my daughters birthday is Monday I had to scramble to find the same swing set to get herald fast. Thank god for Amazon shipped for free in two days and about $60 cheaper. Stay far far away from zulily you will be disappointed every single time.

I am having a problem with Zulily shipping my items. Ordered 2 items 3 weeks ago and still haven't received them.

Received email saying postage had been printed for ups pickup but it never has left Zulily's facility.

I will never buy from them again. This is not a positive experience.

Do not order anything from Zulily!!!!! Scam!!!!

I made two order from them 2 weeks apart, how they said the second order are shipping free within certain amount of time but i missed by 2 minutes so i get charge anyway. The first order are the 2 big size rugs that one for my bed room and the other for my family room are shedding like cat hair, the fiber flies everywhere they get on my furnitures, in my foods, on top of themself...

I have to vacuum twice a day. So I call customer service they said no money back only get credit..huh?..for these rugs i paid about $450. So I had bad feelings for my second order.

Second order took really long time like over a month, it came in 2 different shipment a week or two apart. Anyway, they all came with disappointments.

I had order total of $280 of baby clothing (I was 8 months pregnant with a baby girl and i have a 2 years old toddler boy) I was allure by their beautiful picture of baby clothes and they were claim 50% off. So I thought I got lucky with good deal. From the hair bows, pettiskirt & tank outfit all made by cheap materials and instead of fluffy and soft it so hard and dusty. The flowers intead of sew on they were all glued on with hot glue and off center and stuck to the back of the hat.

All tags are made from China. Nothing that meet my expectation, so now I am stuck with bunch of ugly on top of that one item is missing so they said on the receipt that they will credit it back to my credit card. I still hadn't have time to check it because if my newborn taken all my time. I'm writing this at now 2:07a.

Still mad and disappointed. And don't want anyone else making mistake order from this Zulily.

Quality is terrible! I would be so embarrassed to give these items as gifts as I intended! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! Fabric is very thin and undersized. I should have researched more before buying, but usually have great success on Internet shopping. I will definitely spread the word to not shop from this site! They also did not keep me informed as to when my package shipped. I had to keep checking on the website to figure this out. I am going to try to get my money back, but doubt this happens . What more can I say?

I have no idea why my *** behind did not read these reviews before buying. I saw these beautiful sandals for my toddler and jumped at the " free shipping".

Never really liked the site so decided to pay via PayPal. Get the receipt from Zullily and it tells me the sandals are 15.96. Perfect. Get my PayPal receipt not two seconds later and it includes a jump in the sandal price to 18.99 along with a 7 dollar shipping and handling charge.

Wait. What happened to my free shipping? Send an irate message to customer service and receive an email full of misspellings basically stating that the "free shipping" only happens after your first purchase and has to happen on the same day!

I know it's not much money but how shady is that? This website is the worst!

These guys don't show you their website unless you signup. Which is GREAT for savvy shoppers - like a flashing neon sign announcing: "We're gonna sell your email address, nothing to buy here." BUT, I worry the poor newbies out there will fall for the scam and think it's a reputable business. Zulily IS THE WORSTE!

I do a lot of online shopping and this site is the WORSTE! It takes FOREVER to get anything delivered...I have made the mistake of ordering from them twice and both times it took almost two months for me to receive my purchases. They don't tell you that the stores sell their items for weeks at a time and the consumer has to wait for the vendors selling point to end before they mail the consumers items out. Once the items are mailed they don't actually go to the consumer instead the items go to zulily THEN the items go to the customer....RIDICULOUS!

Actually, the Zulily site clearly explains how their shipping process works and that it takes longer then usual.

Zulily is not a normal store/site/company which is why they are able to get such great deals on products. I am sure the business plan and therefore shipping process cannot work in the same way a normal retailer can or they probably would not survive financially, you have to give a little to get a little.

I have loved all of my purchases from Zulily and have bought many things for friends which they have been happy with, all took quite a while to be delivered but I expected this as I thoroughly looked through the site before purchasing.
